June2014-My foster mom is very good about keeping this site up to date, so if you see me I am available.
Hello, my name is Jack. I am a;8 year old Shih Tzu who has been given up twice in my life. Is there not a family out there that can let me grow old with them.; The first family could not afford me and the second family said that they were allergic to me. So I am now in search I a real forever home. Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a gentleman; I am search of a home with older children since I do not like to be tugged on. Until I get to know you, I am not trusting so please be patient with me until I get to know you and trust you. You would be untrusting if the people you thought you could depend on gave up on you. Once I get to know you though, I enjoy a nice cuddle time.; I will play with the other dogs here in rescue at times and then other times I will play by myself.; It does not really take a lot to make me happy.; A nice treat once and a while and I am good to go.
So I guess you want to know how to adopt me. Contact my foster Mom at 540 752 1741 if you have additional questions (7 days a week 10:00 AM -8:00 PM) or if you already know I am the perfect "friend for you" just go ahead and fill out an application. Hope to see you soon. My adoption fee is $285.00. This fee covers the cost of neutering, all the shots, heartworm test and microchip.
