My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Can we play, Huh? Huh? My name is Benji and my previous owners could not afford to keep me so they released me to the local shelter. There they thought I was too shy to be adopted and if it had not been for the Indiana Sheltie Rescue, my life would have been over. I am not shy, it just takes me a while to warm up to a person. My foster mom says I look like a min-Lassi. I get along fine with my foster mom's other dog and cats. I even like the goats. I weigh 25 1/2 lbs and am 16 1/2 inches tall at the shoulders. I am a beautiful shaded sable and white color with a white blaze up my face, white around my mouth, a large white collar, four white paws and a white tip on the tail. I think I am between 9-11 years of age, but I am lithe, lean and energetic. I love walks, running, playing and I get so excited I bark and jump. I need a fenced yard. I am a little hard of hearing but filled with so much of a desire to be someone's special dog. Will you be that someone?
