My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

AVAILABLE 06-02-14 James is one cool dog. He's friendly, loving, walks loose leash right near you as if he knows exactly what to do; (wouldn't suggest it, but he would probably walk right next to you with no leash if we let him). He came to the Shelter as a stray who was picked up by an Animal Control Officer. With his short squatie stance he probably is mostly Staffie. James has a unique coloring - a gray/chocolate hue with a very light brindle. When we needed a kennel run, we decided since he was so well behaved, we would see how James would do in a cage in the Office. He's really done well - seems to keep his crate clean and is quiet. James had a small scrape between his eyes when he came in, but it's healing up with treatment. He tested negative for heart worms and his vaccinations are now up to date. This handsome love bug would make a great addition to any family, so come to the Shelter in Elizabeth City and meet sweet (baby) James.
