Hello there! My name is Ivy and I am most likely the cutest long-haired dachshund you have ever met. I am a year old and weigh only 17 pounds; this means that I will fit in most laps! There is very little that I won't do to get more love and snuggles from people. I came to Heartland as a stray and really want to find a new forever home. I am not complete without people to love! You might have to move a little slower with me when we first meet since I can be shy at first. Once I get to know you, however, I am a sweet cuddle bug who can't get enough attention. My adoption price is a little higher than normal because I am a GEM dog. GEM stands for "going the extra mile" and the extra price helps to support the care of other dogs who might not get adopted as quickly. I can be all yours for the low, low price of $200.
