Wanna Play!! My name is Gizmo(14) and I am a really great guy!! (The 14 after my name just means I am the fourteenth Gizmo that has lived here at the Safehouse). I am very friendly and playful. No one knows for sure how old I am but they are guessing I was born in 2010. I weigh 12 pounds and my curly non-shedding coat is white, with apricot colored spots, my handsome fuzzy ears are also apricot. I am a Shih Poo (Shih Tzu / Poodle mix). I am always happy and like to have FUN!! I have lots and lots of love and sloppy kisses to give to my friends and plenty of energy for playtime. I do not like strangers, big dogs or little children but older kids that do not pick me up or grab at me are okay. I like squeaky toys, chasing squirrels and playing with other little dogs; I don't care about cats (they are boring). I like treats and always try to be first in line but I am learning to sit and wait my turn (BOY!! Is that hard to do!!). I really hate dog crates but I do not mind staying in a restricted area; you see, the thing of it is . . . I just do not like to be alone. I want to be with YOU!! I like to go for walks and car rides. I know to potty outside but you will have to help me learn your schedule and what door to use to tell you I have to go out. My favorite place to nap is on a soft pillow. At night I am okay not sleeping in your bed but I would love to sleep in the same room with you. My owner turned me over to animal control, I don’t know why, and I arrived at the Safehouse 10/19/2012. If you are my new family, I will give you lots of happy tail wags and sloppy kisses and be your very best friend ever; we could have sooo much fun!! Can I come and live happily ever after with you? I am neutered; I have a microchip; I am current on all vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick preventative; and, I have had a complete physical and dental. My adoption fee is $300.
