My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Toby who came to us from BARCS in Baltimore. He currently resides in Malvern, PA with a foster brother. Toby is 13.5 lbs and is approximately 5 ½ yrs old. He loves to cuddle and give kisses. He loves to play with his squeaky toys, shaking them, playing tug of war or his version of fetching (watch out for those teeth!). He loves walks and could probably use a few lessons on the leash. Hold on tight as he is obsessed with chasing critters, especially squirrels. He is a terrier, you know. Toby knows a few commands and has shown no interest in escaping from the yard. He does have a bit of separation anxiety, so being in a home where he won’t be left alone for hours and hours might be better and having a sibling would probably help as well. He has settled in quite well after a few of weeks, but is overly excited when foster mom comes home and follows her around a bit, but he improves daily. He is crate-trained which is left open for him but he doesn’t use it much. He would be a great addition to any family as he would love the activity but also is happy chilling on the couch and in bed under the covers. And check out the mini mohawk on his nose!
