Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bryan Bickell of the Chicago Blackhawks and his wife Amanda are dedicated to helping Pit Bull type dogs find forever homes. As part of their Bick's Pit program, a Pit Bull is featured through the organization so they can one day find their forever home. Please see the dog's information below and be sure to check out Bick's other pits!
Blair found her way to DuPage County Animal Care & Control two months ago after she was found in an Aldi parking lot. We know that she's treat motivated, and she must have known that the grocery store was THE place to be! Since the day she arrived she has been bouncy, wiggly and happy...her unique ¾ tail never stops wagging! At first she needed some work in the manners department (what 2 year old doesn’t?), but thanks to the amazing work and attention she has received from our STAR volunteers, Blair has now achieved "Most Improved" status and we marvel at just how far she has come. She has mastered key commands such as sit, drop-it, and is making great strides on her leash walking skills. Blair is a stunning girl with a unique look which includes a "mole" on her nose (look out Cindy Crawford)! Unfortunately, she has been at the shelter so long that she is bonding very closely with the staff & volunteers that work with her, and might appear aloof toward strangers. But give her time, and you'll make her tail wag just like we do! Blair's favorite game is anything that involves using her nose or any stuffed toy that squeaks. Blair is our longest canine resident and just like any youngster, needs a home of her very own where she can practice the obedience skills she's learning and finally revel in the comforts of home. Blair is respectful of other dogs, but should go to a home where she can be the center of attention. She is also best without small children due to her size and bouncy personality. If you're looking for a friend that will keep you motivated to enjoy life and the outdoors, Blair is your girl!
