Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy is an adorable 2-3 month old lab mix puppy. She is weighs 8 lbs so she will be medium - large when grown. The way she looks at you melts your heart. Lucy is looking for a home that is filled with love. She does the funniest things that just make you belly laugh. All puppy! She loves other dogs and cats too! Lucy is smart, loyal, happy and ready to share her life with you!
If you are interested in giving Lucy wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly at 901-651-6322 or Angela at 901-361-0089 anytime with questions.
Lucy's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the spaying, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.
Lucy was rescued for a high kill southern shelter. She is living with a foster family in Tennessee. Once she has been adopted she will travel to her new family by professional pet transport. There is a weekly transport to the northeast, CT, NJ, NY, VT, PA, VA, ME. We use a twice monthly transport to IL, WI and MN.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
