Oscar and Felix are posted for the kind people who rescued them as strays. Foster mom says:
Oscar is male, 2.5 years old, 88 lbs. German Shepherd mix (400% dog). Loves: Eating, chewing, food, WATER, tug-of-war, stuffed animals, sniffing, eating. Sins: A little drooly; loud bark; jumps up a lot; loves to rip his toys. Super power: Standing on hind legs.
Felix and Oscar are a VERY handsome pair of dogs who arrived as remarkably well-behaved but abandoned dogs on our doorstep last spring. They are just like their names (for those who know The Odd Couple): Felix is neat, does not like to get his feet wet or muddy, and knows what good behavior is; Oscar is a bit of a slob and doesn't care where his feet end up, but is good if there's a treat in it for him.
They have had all their shots, are chipped, and are well trained in the basic commands and indoor behavior. Neither has any major health problems. They get a little agitated by other dogs, but they are improving on this. They do entertain each other very well during a normal work day. They respond really well to consistency and routine, and have always been surprisingly loving, trusting, and docile underneath their high energy.
Because they are so clearly a team, we really want to place them together if possible.
