MEET COLTRAIN!
Babyface, you've got the cutest little babyface...Coltrain & his brother Slippers are the cutest little puppies you ever did meet! Their parents are of mixed breeds. Mama looks like a spaniel sized golden retriever & Papa looks like a small german shepard. They shouldn't grow to be too big, our guess is under 35 - 45 lbs. at most.
Coltrain likes to be cuddled with, but wants to play after a short while. Like Curious George, this little monkey of a dog is very inquisitive & brave. He is the first one to explore a new sight and a new smell. Don't double-dog dare this fella because he will take that dare!
Coltrain & Slippers are being fostered on a Milford horse farm. This means he is around children, adults, barn cats, of course other dogs AND horses. Slippers' major exposure to so many species bodes well for him & his future family (you?) because a well socialized dog is a good dog. (Followed by the other slogan: A tired dog is a good dog.)
Coltrain's birthday was around Christmas Day, 2007. He has been socialized around people since birth.

Please note: The adopter of Coltrain will need to be knowledgeable about (or willing to learn) how to housetrain a puppy. Housetraining puppies involves frequent trips outside by puppy AND person (on leash even in a fenced yard) with lots of praise &/or rewards. No puppies go potty indoors for spite. It's all up to the people to teach the puppy kindly & patiently where acceptable potty spots are.
The adoption fee for Coltrain & Slippers will be in the range of $145. All the vet expenses are not yet in. Puppies in fostercare tend to need several rounds of deworming in addition to their neuter surgery and vet check-ups.
