Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Raleigh NC
Holy cow what a nice boy! Fema (who we have now christened *Meatball*) was pulled from the Wake County Animal Shelter in Raleigh. He had been there for over 150 days! You know a dog is cool if he can manage to avoid the list over and over again. He was marked as "rescue only" because he developed some anxiety in the kennel after being there so long. We are giving him time to adjust into foster care and will try to desensitize him to the kennel environment. Right now when he has to go in for boarding he drools, paces, and has eyes big as quarters and gets a bit panicky. That should slowly extinguish itself over the next several months. In a home setting he's a couch potato and has no problem staying in a crate.
He's kind of plain in looks but not in personality. He's super squishy and loving and just a fabulous dog. He's a short stubby red bully type pit bull. He's microchipped, current on vaccinations, heart worm negative and he has been neutered. He’s mellow and social and a great choice for a family pet. Being fostered with other dogs and cats. Low exercise requirement.
He’s working on some more basic commands (already knows sit), crate training and house breaking. He’s listed as Pit Bull Terrier but with his low slung frame and super beefy head, he might have some Olde English Bulldogge in his background.

Please keep in mind that we are a foster based rescue only. There is no facility where these dogs can be visited prior to application approval as they are all in private homes. This is for both the safety of our foster homes and our dogs. Please take a minute to fill out the adoption application if you are interested in one of our dogs. We also do not place our pit bulls in homes with dogs of the same gender. We adopt as single dogs or to homes with dogs of the opposite gender only. We appreciate breed experience.
