My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shadow is a loving, energetic 2 year old male merle with natural ears. He stands approximately 33” from the shoulder and has a very handsome coloration. He is playful, walks decently well on a leash, completely house trained, and generally eager to please. Shadow is good around children, but due his size and his excitement he'd be best in a home with older children age 10 years and up. He gets along well with cats, and currently annoys his old, grumpy dog brother with frequent requests to play. While Shadow has times of high energy and playfulness, he is overall a well-mannered, relaxed dog that will hang out on his dog bed and entertain himself. He has done well alone in the house for several hours, and seems capable of lasting longer without a problem. His one major flaw is “surfing the counters” for food treats left unattended. It is a special joy for Shadow is to be let off leash to run free in a big fenced in yard. Please adopt this loving, goof ball. He will be your best friend and the best looking (furry) arm candy you'll ever have! A training contract will be part of his adoption requirement.
