Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Merida needs a new home. She is a 1 year old large breed dog, 1/2 Great Pyrenees,1/2 Border collie-lab mix, we need to rehome. We prefer someone with children and/or an active lifestyle. She is about 90-95 pounds, very smart, and a very active dog. We want to place her with someone who wants an active happy dog, who understands she needs activity and training. She is very friendly to people and dogs/cats. She plays well with our small breed dog and our cat.
She was raised to be a livestock guardian but does not have the guarding instinct
needed to protect the young babies. She recently killed our first cria born of the
year and we do believe it was accidental. Nevertheless, even though she has
killed a cria, to people and children she is a sweetheart and just needs to be with
people, not livestock. If I thought she were a risk otherwise, I would have had
her euthanized. I do not believe she deserves that.
Merida is spayed, chipped, and is current on her vaccinations. She is well behaved in the house, off leash, housebroken and is currently being
crate trained.
