My story

Hi! My name is Rico, and I'm 5 months old. My foster parents rescued me from a home in Lincoln Heights that wasn't taking very good care of me. A kitty and I were sharing a tiny, extremely messy room that smelled like marijuana and feces. Since then I have had 3 rounds of shots, and have switched to only premium, grain-free dog food. Now I weigh a healthy 25 lbs! I am also teething, so I'd really enjoy lots of chews and toys. I know basic commands like "sit," "lay down," "go to bed", and I walk on the leash very well. I am also potty trained! My eyes are green, and my fur has shades of mocha and cream. I am looking for a family I can grow with... someone who I can run beside on sunny bike rides, or someone to take me swimming - I love water! I also love playing with children and other dogs. I am looking for a master who will truly love me, as much as I would love him or her... I have so much love to give! I'm eager to learn and am very calm and loyal, and will stare deep into your eyes to let you know I truly see you. I will be neutered before I am adopted and there is an adoption fee of $350.
