Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Missy came to us from the same home who we are helping with the 4 cats: Buddy, Alita, Nightmare and Princess. The home is facing personal difficulties and can no longer care for, or afford them. We are helping to place these 4 deserving cats and one deserving dog into new homes.
Missy is approximately 2 years old and is a female collie/greyhound mix. She is high energy and will appreciate a new home who has plenty of time to exercise her and help her to burn her energy!
Missy's foster home cares for her greatly and has enjoyed fostering her. He feels she will make an excellent dog for a new forever home! He also fosters Tucker and has another large dog of his own, and Missy gets along well with both!
His comments about Missy are:
- she is very high energy, and will be responsive and attentive if given proper attention.
- she is house and crate trained.
- she loves to play with any and all toys.
- she can fetch, sit, lie-down, back up, and go to her crate on command.
- she is full of energy and loves to play.
Missy has been with us for over 8 months as we waited to see if her original home could get back on their feet and take her back. It was recently decided that Missy would best be served being placed in a new home where she could get the care and attention she deserves. We have gotten to know Missy quite well in the past 8 months and are confident she will be a great dog in the right new home!
Missy is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed rescue. Her adoption fee is $375. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm tested as part of their adoption.
