Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. Our facility is all-volunteer and is not open to the public on weekdays, but we will schedule weekday appointments for anyone who submits an adoption application.
The first step of adoption is submitting an application (link found below). Some animals may be in foster homes. For information on a specific animal, please visit our adoption center, call 205-554-0011 and leave a voicemail or email us at humaneswa@yahoo.com!
This tiny fluffball is Toby, a very fluffy orange and white kitten. Toby is very small and young at only 9 weeks old (as of 5/23/14). Toby is a very friendly fellow who loves to be held and cuddled. He's a little unsure of rough playing and mews for help when another kitten wants to wrestle with him! Toby is very much a baby who wants to feel safe and loved. Due to his age and size, he will not be adopted out to a home with children under age of 12. He's very small and still at a critical age, so pet ownership experience is necessary. He'll need a watchful eye and can't be left alone for several hours during the day. We do not recommend Toby around dogs. Stop by our cat adoption center to meet Toby and more adoptable cats and kittens!
Negative for FIV and FeLK, current on FVRCP vaccinations. Toby will need Rabies + FeLK vaccination three weeks after the previous vaccinations.
Due to being underage for a spay/neuter surgery, adoption requires an additional refundable spay/neuter deposit to reinforce state requirements for all adopted pets to be fixed by age of maturity. Read our adoption process for more information.
Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters.
