My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Ernie! Ernie is a 8 year old boy, but has the spirit of a 2 year old! I was found as a stray in Beckley, WV, he was very emaciated and full of bites and wounds! When people tried to give him Food the other "pack" Dogs in the area would come along and beat him up to take it! Finally DDAR pulled him and got him a transport to this area. Ernie is a sweet and loving boy who will steal your heart and make you melt! He loves as much attention as he can get! He is not very good with Cats, but he thrives in a home with other Dogs! Ernie has a bit of age on him but he still has a lot of life and love left in his heart to give!!

Dakotas Dream is a small non-profit rescue group. We are not a shelter and have limited resources and volunteers. Please do not drop off any cats at PetsMart as we will not be able to take them into our care. This is a donated space for cats which are already in our program and have gone through a series of vet testing and rehabilitation program. Remember to spay and neuter your pets!
