Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Katniss and her 5-newborn kittens came to OFCR on April 19, 2014. The kittens have all been adopted. Katniss is a great cat, and an even greater mother. She was a loving protective mom; so much so that she even took in an orphan cat with no hesitation-immediately bathing and feeding him. Katniss is a diva, and as assertive as she is loveable. The pictures make Katniss look bigger than she is. She's actually very petite- recently weighing in at 6-pounds. She’ll likely lose a little more weight as she loses “baby weight.”
If properly introduced and socialized, Katniss can live with other pets. Katniss would do best in a home with older kids. She lives with a teenager at her foster home and does great with her. Katniss is also living with a small dog at her foster family's home. She'll for sure make a great companion pet.
KATNISS IS A VERY LIGHT SHEDDER. We learned that Russian Blue Cats don't shed very much. They generally shed once a year during Fall.
Contact us if you're interested in meeting and possibly adopting Miss Katniss.
