Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Breed/Age: Bernie is a 4-5 month old American Staffordshire / Pit Bull puppy
Size: Fully grown Bernie will likely be a medium sized dog
Foster Family Observations:
Bernie is a 4-month-old neutered American Staffordshire / pit bull terrier. He has a beautiful brown coat that has subtle brindle markings through it. He is absolutely a sweetheart, so mellow and cuddly for his age. He gets along with all people, his foster dog sister and brother, cats, and even a guinea pig! Bernie follows his people and his fellow dogs around and is very eager to please everyone. He is crate trained, and is quickly learning his basic commands. Bernie has nearly mastered off leash training! Sit and down are easy breezy, too. He has no food or toy aggression issues. In fact, Bernie has been free feeding with our two dogs without issue. We are aggressively working on potty training and in the short time that he has been with us, he has made great strides. He sleeps through the night without needing to go potty, and does well when his foster parents are at work too! He hardly has any accidents inside, and when he does it’s because his foster parents didn’t listen to him. Woops! He is an amazing dog and would fit in nicely with any family. Bernie’s dream home would have another dog in it because he loves to play and cuddle with ours.
