Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you are looking for a fun guy who loves kids and will be a great family companion look no further. Peanut is a very lucky 8 year old Puggle who was dumped by his previous family because "he smelled bad". This poor guy was suffering from a bad case of seasonal allergies that were left untreated and he was brought to the vet to be put down because his family didn't want to deal with his issue. And that would have been a real shame because Peanut is a lovely boy and his medical problem was very easily fixed. Thankfully the vet intervened and called us to ask us to step in to help this guy. He has quite a playful personality and one would never guess that he is 8 years old. He charms everyone he meets and is a delight to be around. He loves to romp and play with the other dogs and is crate trained. He may need some help getting thru "allergy season" but if you keep on top of it, a course of medication should be all he needs to get him thru it. He is neutered and up to date with his shots. Peanut weighs 35 pounds and it may be a struggle to keep him from getting chubby since he is a real chow hound. And he is just so irresistible, it is easy to get carried away with the treats. Peanut is in a foster home so arrangements need to be made to meet him. But you won't be disappointed. His foster family raves about him and I know they will be very sad to see him go (but happy that he will finally find a real family that will love and care for him for the rest of his days).
