My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Martini is an 8 month old Boxer/Shepherd mix. She was rescued from an abandoned home with her sister, Asti. She is a beautiful brindle color. If you ask her foster mom to describe her in two words it would be “SWEET and shy.” She is very affectionate and loves to snuggle with both humans and canines. She definitely thinks she is a lap dog. If anyone is sitting down when she comes in the room she crawls up on their lap. Martini is shy when she first meets males, but when they hand her a yummy treat and scratch behind her ears they are her new best friend. She has been fostered with both cats and dogs and is wonderful with everyone. She would love the companionship of another dog where they can run and play in a fenced in yard. Her favorite toy is the rope toy and she enjoys chewing on her Nylabones and deer antlers.

To help Martini get acclimated to her new home, the adoption fee includes 1 complimentary training session with the rescue’s trainer.
