Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Emma was rescued from a kill pound in Ohio and has been in the shelter for 9 months. Although she is the sweetest and most gentle girl around, Emma has been overlooked in the shelter because she is one of many black dogs in the shelter system and their adoption rates are lower simply because of their color. Emma enjoys the company of all people including kids. She is house-trained and nondestructive in the house. She listens very well and is a good traveler in the car. Emma enjoys her crate and will choose to nap with her favorite toys in the coziness of her special place. She will need additional leash training but is very food motivated and smart so it should take no time at all for her to catch on. This amazing dog longs for a person and family of her own.
