My story

ADOPTED!

Meet Charlie. He might be four years old, but he is a puppy at heart -- so happy and active with a zest for life! Charlie likes other dogs, and he has lots of games he would like to show a new dog friend. He is great entertainment for people too.

Charlie is good in the car and behaves like a gentlemen while riding. He knows commands (sit, down, shake) and is crate-trained. Oh, and the best part...he is house-broken! He is eager to learn new things but needs someone who will give him attention and consistency.

Charlie needs a family who can match or exceed his activity level. Do you need an exercise partner or motivation to get out of the house and get moving? Charlie would love to have two-and four-legged playmates, but no small children, dogs under 10 pounds, or cats.

Charlie is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and weighs about 25 pounds.

Do you and your family have extra room in your hearts and home to welcome this spirited boy? He’s ready and waiting to meet you!

Charlie is being fostered in a home south of Denver, CO.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
