My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Annie is a black 10 year old senior female pomeranian, approximately 12 pounds. She is current on all shots, house trained, micro-chipped and a heart worm survivor.

Annie has a rather unique story.
Annie came from a Tulsa, OK cemetery where she was seen on several occasions to be laying on a certain grave site day after day. Of course we do not know for sure who's grave it was (possibly her owner?) but it was always the same one. She would frequently run off when approached and it was several days before she was trusting enough to allow people to come close enough to pick her up.
Annie was placed with a local Tulsa area rescue and her initial vet visit revealed that she had heart worms. The rescue attempted for a few weeks to raise the funds to treat Annie, but was unsuccessful in getting the needed amount.
Groovy Paws Rescue was contacted to help and we took Annie in as one of our own. We were able to raise the funds needed to treat her heart worms and today she is completely heart worm free!

Annie is a sweet girl. Very calm and actually quite trusting. She loves people and craves attention, although not in a overbearing way. She just loves to be pet and to sit with to you. She is not a lap dog but would rather lay on the floor at your feet. She seems to always have a smile on her face and gets very excited to see you come home.

Annie deserves a good, stable home after all she has been through.
