My story

Hello! My Name Bruno and I am a 2 year old Boxer/Dane mix. I just love life now that I am free. I was found as a stray in Southern Illinois where I stayed in animal control for almost 2 months before I was rescued by Safely Home Canine Rescue. My first day I went to the vet to get checked out and was given a clean bill of health and I am completed vetted. After seeing the vet they put me in this rectangular object they called a bathtub, that was interesting. I have a wonderful foster family/temporary home until I find my forever home. I love to play all day with my foster brother. I learn quickly, but I like to talk back with some whining and barking, but I'm working on that. I do need some help with my training especially when I get excited-I would be better in a home with kids over 10. I am a very athletic boy who loves to play and jump so a taller fence (5ft or taller) would be best for me. My wish list for my perfect forever home would have a 5 foot fenced yard, a sibling or two to play with, and someone that will have a firm hand to keep me in check and to continue to help me with my training.
