Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Barclay is a beautiful young lab/mountain cur ready for the good life. He and his brother, Bro, were rescued when they were literally skin over bones. Some great food, good vet care and lots of love have them ready to start new lives.
Barclay is 11 - 12 months old and weighs about 35 pounds, so a medium-sized boy. True to his breed, he is an energetic young dog. He has a very sweet disposition and learns new commands quickly. He is pretty good on the leash and rides well in the car. He goes on walks off leash in the country with his brother Bro and stays close by. He enjoys wading in the creek and the river and going to a swim as well!
His stance is beautiful - show dog stance. We love his short tail - many curs are born with short tails, and Barclay is one of the lucky ones. It's so cute.
Barclay's adoption fee is $375 to cover his expenses while getting ready for his forever home.
An a active family would be great for Barclay so that he can get the exercise his breed needs.
If you think Barclay is a good fit for your family, email warmhearts@earthlink.net for an application to adopt. Barclay's adoption/vetting fee is $150.00.
