My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lance is a sweet senior boy, or “elder bull”, approximately ten years of age; from what we can tell he did not live a happy life before coming to PV and was likely a strictly outdoor dog. He is currently in boarding where he was dumped and forgotten about by a less than reputable “rescue” group, and thankfully PV was able to step in to try and help. Lance is a quiet and well behaved boy who is crate trained and does not have accidents in his kennel. Lance loves people and is still very, very full of life and has so much to give back to the family who would be privileged to welcome such a gentle and affectionate older dog into their home. He truly deserves a comfortable and loving home to live to his full potential during his golden years. Because of his history and age, we would prefer an only dog home for Lance where he could be the center of attention. He may do fine with other dogs (females more than males) but adopters must be able to do meet and greet and proper introductions with their other pet.
