My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HURLEY: I am awesome! You will not find a more handsome boy than me. I am a 1 to 2 year old, 9 pound Cairn terrier/ Pekinese mix. I am calm, yet playful, sweet, a snuggle bug, and not a barker unless I really need to. I am a go with the flow kind of guy. I like to be where my person is.
You see, I came from an overcrowded shelter in New Mexico and it was very scary. Before that I was trapped because I was dumped; someone forgot about me and I was in that trap a couple of days. I am so happy to be with a family again. I do not like to be crated, you can understand why. But, don’t worry I am a very good boy. I am learning the routine of things and catching on very quickly. I am almost potty trained. I do like to sleep on the bed at night with you if you would let me.
I am really good with other dogs, and cats. I have not been around kids in my foster home, but I am pretty sure I would love the playful attention.
I am neutered, current on all my shots, heartworm negative and microchipped.
A visitation at the foster home needs to be arranged to come and visit. Fill out a pre-adoption application found on our website at www.pureheartsrescue.org , click on applications. Next email it to: rescue@pureheartsrescue.org for approval or call 970-590-3708 for more information. After approval a visitation will be scheduled. After rescue approval, and you love me and I love you, an adoption contract is filled out and signed. I have a $250.00 adoption fee.
