My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When Trixie was at the county shelter, she was very timid and shy and did not enjoy making new friends. That environment was very stressful for her, but now that she’s had a chance to relax and participate in a fun training program, she is a real sweetheart! She is still a little shy when meeting people for the first time, but after a few minutes, she will melt in your arms or roll over for a belly rub! She is the smartest dog in her training class and LOVES learning new things! After only 6 weeks of training, Trixie has mastered nearly all of her basic obedience commands and will be ready for her forever home on Friday, May 30th.
She loves to go for rides in the car and is happy to curl up and take a nap in the back seat. Trixie is also a great little watch dog and will let you know when visitors arrive. She’ll bark and run over to say help and then walk away once she makes your acquaintance.
