My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

To meet Aries is to love him!

Aries is a one year old beagle who just wants to be with you, or play.

He working on his housetraining, is crate trained, and is an all-around happy boy! He is dog friendly and curious about everything.

After a good play session he loves to curl up next to his person and have a nice nap. Aries likes to be cuddled, too, and will happily accept belly rubs and scratches from all those he meets.

Aries can be vocal when crated, so apartment dwellers are not likely good adoptive candidates. He does settle down, though.

Aries loves his people so much that he tries to imitate them by walking on his hind paws. The foster home is discouraging this behavior, because he likes to have his front paws on a person when he's doing it. He also uses this skill to counter surf, so leaving food out is even less of a good idea then usual around beagles!

Aries would love to have an active home with or without another dog. If you're looking for a walking partner or like to play fetch, (even though he doesn't always bring it back) Aries might be the boy for you!
