Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. We are closed to the public on weekdays. We're an all-volunteer group and need advance notice to schedule appointments, therefore weekday appointments are available to schedule for adoption applicants only.
To adopt, please submit an adoption application (see the link below). Some animals may be in foster homes. For information on a specific animal, please visit our adoption center or email us at humaneswa@yahoo.com!
This silly little lady is Harper, a female brown/gray tabby "teenage" kitten with mitted white paws. Harper is 6-7 months old (as of 9/18/14). Harper loves being held, but can be silly and sassy when she's playing! She's fun to watch. She'd do great with another friendly cat or as an only pet. She should do well around gentle children. We've never had Harper around dogs. Stop by our cat adoption center to meet Harper and more adoptable cats and kittens!
Negative for FIV and FeLK, current on vaccinations. Due to being underage for a spay/neuter surgery, adoption requires an additional refundable spay/neuter deposit to reinforce state requirements for all adopted pets to be fixed by age of maturity. Read our adoption process for more information.
Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters.
