My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lassie is a 1 year old retriever mix female dog. She is a great dog and walks amazingly well on a leash. Lassie is a medium/large sized dog and has a great calm/medium energy level. She is frightened of other dogs and would need work on socialization if she was to be around them and loves people! She is gorgeous and looking for her new forever home!

$150 Adoption Fee for all Dogs and Puppies. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, a heartworm/lymes test (for adults), microchip, and all age appropriate vaccinations. (Puppies are too young for the test but will be started on preventative.)

SHELTER HOURS: 1:00pm – 6:00pm Tuesday - Thursday; 12:00pm – 4:00pm Friday and Saturday; 1pm-4pm Sunday; Closed Monday. We welcome adoptions from people living out of the area or outside the state of Virginia. The application process is completed in person at the shelter.
