Iggy is a laid-back sweet lab mix, gentle and eager to please. He was found as a stray in the freezing cold winter in Roscommon County, along with his buddy Mason, and no one came to claim him. He's around 3-4 years old, weighs 67 lbs, and loves squeaky toys and cuddling on the couch. He has even been known to crawl up in his foster mom's lap, lol! He is housebroken, knows sit, shake, and down, and can be crated although he behaves so well that he is allowed to be free in the house when left at home.
He loves to go for a walk, and is not too bad on the leash, though pulls a bit at the start. He came with a companion and likes to play with other dogs, so a dog buddy might be welcome, but he is also people focused and could be your number one companion if you will let him. He is fostered with cats, and generally ignores them, though he has tried to play with a new foster cat that showed interest in him.
If you haven't passed up this gem of a boy you are in for a treat, because he is quietly one of the nicest dogs around. His eyes are so expressive and just long to have someone to love and trust. Meet him and you might fall in love!
