If you are looking for a drop-dead gorgeous, charismatic television commercial-type kitty, you might as well stop reading and go on to another profile, because Ebenezer is neither of these things. This funny-looking flame point Siamese cat isn't nicknamed "PIGGY" for nothing. He does resemble a fat little pig!!! And--because he came from a situation where he must not have gotten enough to eat--he just LOVES to pork down his food!! Ebenezer came to Voiceless-MI on 3-19-14, along with 3 other unneutered male relatives. They came to us filthy, scared, scarred, and beaten up; having been taken from an unsanitary hoarding situation in another county. Apparently 3 unneutered flame point Siamese kittens over a 3- to-4-year period became a household of 38 unneutered cats! Every one of these darling boys we rescued has a varying vision and/or hearing impairment. Eb can see reasonably well, but does have some vision loss. However, he doesn't know he's got this handicap, and it doesn't slow him down a bit. He is a very lovable cat who adores attention--even over his food. If you don't pay attention to him, he will talk very loudly and clearly so that you have no trouble knowing exactly how he feels about being ignored. He will wrap his body around your legs and head butt you if that doesn't work. He's very good with other cats, even when they don't like him and slap him around. But he HATES his foster mom's large dog and is a holy little terror when he sees her. He is totally fearless and will leap onto her with all four paws a-flying. Therefore, he absolutely cannot go into a household with dogs. Eb is estimated to be around 4 years of age, although his teeth make him appear much older. He has an extremely compact and muscular front end and so much muscle in his neck that his head almost disappears into it. But he has weak hindquarters that taper from his waist back. He's a most peculiar-looking kitty, but so homely cute that you just can't resist him. And after all he has endured over his short lifetime, he deserves a second chance for happiness and a devoted, loving person or family to be his beloved friend(s) and slave(s).
Ebenezer's adoption fee is $85. This includes neutering (3-19-14), a 1-year distemper combo shot (3-19-14), a 1-year rabies shot (3-19-14), deworming (3-26-14--Piperazine and Panacur), and a Revolution treatment (3-26-14). He tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV just prior to our getting him.
