My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Despite being failed miserably by her former humans, Grace is the sweetest, most affectionate girl you would ever want to meet. You can get a good sense of her spirit just by looking at her beautiful face, markings and welcoming gaze in this photo. Grace is a playful two-year-old and would make a good family dog. She is medium-sized, weighs 45 pounds and is a mixed breed. She has been spayed and is current on all shots.

Bright Hope Animal Rescue rescued Grace this winter after she was found alone in a frigid house with no food or water. Bright Hope took in Grace and three other dogs they found on the property. While Grace is in boarding awaiting her new family, two of her companions have been adopted and are thriving in their new homes.

All of the staff where Grace is boarded remark that she is very sweet and well behaved. She interacts well with children, adults and other dogs. In fact, Grace lived in a family with children before they fell on hard times. Grace has good social skills. She greets children in a low submissive pose, and then she rises to playful pose when they pet her. Grace loves to kiss and be cuddled.
