Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dog name: Pepsi
Sex: Spayed Female
Age: 2 to 3 Years old
Type: Pepsi is a Lab Mix. We think she might have some Shepherd in her.
Size: Small/Mid size (around 30 to 33 lbs, Pepsi is full grown and will not be any bigger. She is very small in compare to a regular Lab).
Medical: Good health, all shots updated in March 2014, checked against all worms and all negative.
History: Pepsi was born in the streets in Taiwan. Due to a superstition, black dogs are not welcome by most people in Taiwan. Therefore, people tossed and threw items at Pepsi to shove her away. Daily, Pepsi encountered lots of dangers living in the streets. She was often hungry, dirty and hardly could find a safe place every night to sleep. Even though no one ever stopped and gave her chance to life, she has always been hopeful whenever a person approached her. Unfortunately, no one paid any attention to her.
One day, Pepsi got into an accident. An University student witness Pepsi's accident. She rushed Pepsi to an animal hospital and got her treated. Luckily, Pepsi's injury was only a dislocated leg. The University student used all of her saving money, paid for Pepsi's medical bills and cared for her. After a few weeks of hard work, Pepsi recovered and is healthy and happy. Because Pepsi's sweet and superb personality, the Student felt that Pepsi deserves the very best environment. She reached out to us. Our rescue group raised money, transported Pepsi to LA and put her in one of our foster families.
Temper: Because of Pepsi's history, Pepsi is shy and timid initially. The first couple of days when I have Pepsi in my home fostering, she was reserve and hesitant. It took me a few days to get her comfortable. Once she warmed up to me her cute and adorable personality started to show through. She is very sweet and affectionate. Pepsi wiggles her body and wags her tail now whenever she sees me. Pepsi is mellow, calm and submissive. She is great with dogs and cats.
Pepsi does not chew, rarely barks, is potty trained and crate trained and likes to lay in the sun. Pepsi is not needy, super friendly and sweet. She is GREAT on a leash and she likes to walk.
