Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wilma is a 2 1/2 yr old female Bullmastiff. She was rescued from a shelter just as her time was up. She was found as a stray and had just had puppies. She was skinny, her fur was a mess but we knew she was a diamond in the rough. That was last summer and she has been in foster care ever since. She has now gained lots of weight and her fur looks great. A bit petite for a Bullmastiff, she is still a solid 100 lbs. She goes on daily walks with her foster mom and loves seeing all the neighbors. She is very smart and knows the houses where people come out to see her. She is good on the leash but very strong. She is not aggressive but will react to rabbits and squirrels so will need a strong person to walk her. ??
She is good around other dogs but will only be placed as a single dog. She gets very attached to her people and gets a little assertive over her domain with some dogs. As far as people, she is very calm and loving with adults & kids. She loves meeting children at adoption events but has never lived with children so we most likely will not place her in a home with small children. We are looking for a home with Bullmastiff experience as they are a very special breed. We also prefer a fenced yard. She is housebroken, crate trained, spayed and up to date on shots. ??
We suspect she was used for breeding then cast aside. For as sweet as she is, she needs some house manners so we are looking for someone who is willing to get her formal training. She has some slight allergies and is on a diet of salmon & potato. She really is just a big mushy, lap dog.
If you are looking for a loving, loyal companion, Wilma may just be your dog. If you would like to meet Wilma, or for more information, please email her contact Dana at DP553@aol.com.
