Cleo and her sister, Tess, were part of a public outreach situation. An elderly woman was feeding a dog under her house only to have her become pregnant, have puppies, and then continue to breed throughout the time she was there. After six months, Cleo is still awaiting her forever family!
Cleo is a friendly, bubbly dog who loves to run and play outside with her friends. She thrives on being able to play with other dogs, as well as follow their lead in times she is not confident. Cleo gets along great with other dogs! She also does excellent with all of the cats she meets to, and is very confused sometimes at why they look so different! Although she is very friendly with everyone she meets, we think older children may be best for her seeing as how loud sounds and screams can confuse her.
Cleo would do best in a home with a family that had the time to interact with her outdoors, as well as help her to transition into being the house full time. Though Cleo does do excellent indoors, is housebroken, crate trained, and on her way to learning her basics, she could still use a guiding hand to teach her the true meaning of being a house pet! With her still being a young dog, she has plenty of energy to learn new tricks, especially for a tasty snack! Those ALWAYS get her motivated!!
Sweet, young, Cleo is looking for a wonderful adopter to show her what being a pet is all about! Please consider her as your new companion if you or a friend are looking! She would make a WONDERFUL addition!
