Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jefferson is a lab mix and is about 18 months old. He most likely got separated from his family and was found wandering the streets of Mississippi after the tornandos. We think he must have come from a home with children because he just loves kids.
I cannot say enough good things about Jefferson. He would make an amazing pet, especially if you have kids and other dogs. We had three other foster puppies at our house one day and Jefferson layed there as they climbed all over him. He loves to play and is very active. He is currently in a foster home with other dogs and children and his foster family adores him. He still has a lot of puppy like features and he will put a smile on your face with some of the silly things he does.. When we first brought him home, he barked at himself in the mirror! Jefferson likes to be wherever you are. Even when he is exhausted after chasing the ball for an hour and he lays down, the second you move he is right there will you. He is extremely devoted and just a joy to be around. He loves the car and it puts him right to sleep. He is completely house broken and very well mannered. Jefferson deserves a good life in a home filled with love. If you choose to open up your heart to this beautiful dog, he will fill you home with such joy.
