My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dolly is a sweet ol' Senior Gal, picked up as a stray. She was wearing a collar, but nobody came for her. She's a big Rottie mix who could really use some TLC and a nice comfy place to take a nap. She walks nicely on a leash, is very well mannered, and is not reactive to other dogs. She has a tumor on her tail, so which will require some follow up. She really deserves to spend the rest of her days in a loving home.

Del Norte County Animal Control is located in rural Crescent City, CA (a tiny coastal city on the OR/CA border). We have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t come outside and play. Please consider making a difference in a dog’s life and adopt from our shelter!

We are open Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm.
We are closed Saturday and Sunday.

Adoption fees are between $15 - $95 depending on if the dog has been previously fixed and if you are adopting in Del Norte County or out of the county.
