My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mittens was raised from a young age by an elderly woman who recently passed. This poor kitty would like to find a new home where she can feel loved and safe.

This 8 year-old is timid and startles easily. For that reason, she should not live with young children or dogs. She's very curious about other cats and loves watching outdoor cats and birds through windows (she's an indoor cat herself).

Mittens wants an owner who understands her loss and will let her warm up at her own pace. She has a friendly personality, but it takes some time for her to trust.
