My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Like her unforgettable heroine namesake, Scarlett is a pretty, black and rust, 3 yr. old dobergirl with a strong personality. She appears to have previously lived in a quiet home setting, and will do best in a similar type home with dog savvy owners. Scarlett is slow to warm up to new people, and can be unsure and vocal when in new situations. No children, please and we are asking for a physical fence with this dobergirl. She will need continued work on being out-and-about and learning that the big world is a safe, friendly place. Still young, she can be active and energetic at times, but settles quickly. Scarlett is a well-behaved lady in the house and does not need crating in her foster home. Once she bonds with her people, she becomes an affectionate, velcro girl. She enjoys outside playtime, running after toys and sticks. Scarlett can be pesky with other dogs, with constant neck-nibbling and persistent attempts to get attention. If she is to have a canine sibling, it will need to be a laid-back male that will find this behavior tolerable!
