Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*** ADOPTED 5/10/2014 !!! ***
SEEKING A PERFORMANCE OR WORKING HOME! Or at least Obedience Classes!
Terk is a purebred German shepherd dog born on 12/28/2013. He was purchased by a family with a baby and they soon realized they didn't have time to raise both their infant and a baby dog.
This puppy is very smart, fairly high energy and high drive. He is okay with other dogs and likes to play with them, but tends to play too hard for puppies or small dogs. With direction, he has been respectful of cats so far, but needs supervision.
Terk is crate trained and sleeps through the night in his crate. During the day he can be crated for 2 to 3 hours at a time, but then needs an outdoor break and exercise.
This is a dog that is going to need training or he will get into mischief. He likes to fetch, loves to tug and has great focus for a pup. He loves to learn and is a quick study.
Interested in adopting Terk? Be ready to let us know what your plan for training this puppy is. He would be an excellent prospect for competitive dog sports.
Email us for an adoption application.
Terk's adoption fee is $150, plus there is a $200 deposit that is refundable at the time of his neuter at 8 months to 1 year of age.
Upon approval and home visit, adopters will be asked to sign a contract and pay an adoption fee.
