Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Cutie and I am a very cute female Yorkipoo that is only 3yrs old. I am a young pup that is looking for my perfect home and I hope I can find it soon. I was surrendered by my family to the rescue because we all had to move from a house to an apartment. I lived with another dog, my human Mom and a couple very young children. My Mom wanted to keep me but for several reason said it wasn’t fair so she gave me up.
I am Spayed/Microshipped/Vaccinated

**March 30th 2014**
My Mom’s boyfriend contacted the rescue about giving me up because my Mom was moving and I was currently living in the house that we had to move out of with another dog, and time was running out, we had to go. My Mom wanted to keep me and even took me with to the new place but when they left me alone I would bark. She wanted to try but I think the boyfriend talked her out of it, he liked the other dog. . less than 1hr later she called and said to come and get me. The boyfriend did comment to the rescue that I would bark at men when they came close to Mom, Mom would spoil me, I was pampered and I was an expensive dog. Mom said I did very well with the other dog, I did great with her children, she didn’t say anything about me not liking men and said I was pee pad trained because they didn’t want to have to walk me especially when it was cold outside. I made it to my foster home and my foster Mom said I am doing very well with the other dogs.

I am doing good so far, foster Mom was worried I cause I have not gone potty yet and I wasn’t using the wee pads either but yeeaa I finally went outside. I am very slow to warm up to foster Dad, if Dad comes into the room unexpected I bark at him.
**April 5th 2014**
I am not housebroken and I do not use wee pads. I finally will go up to foster Dad now at times but other times I will growl and actually act like I am going to attack him, I go towards him but have not actually made contact with him. I am fine with women and children so far and will play with the grandchildren.
**April 19th 2014**
Foster Mom told the rescue that I am still not housebroken, my foster parents both work 8hrs plus a day so I need someone home more often than not, I have not been crate tested to see how I do in there with my potty issues. I am very hot and cold with men, I was on the chair with foster Mom when foster Dad came to pet me, I tried to warn him and he kept trying to pet me, he was doing his best to get me to trust him but sadly I nipped him and other times I’ll sit next to him while he is eating acting all cute. . I Love to be outside and will stay out there all day if I could but will come in when called except when it comes to foster Dad, I will not come in. I would rather stay out there and did that on a very cold day so foster Dad had to call his daughter to come and get me inside the house.
Foster Mom said now I am starting to growl at the male grandchildren but have no issues with the females.

I am still not housebroken but of course I need someone home to work with me on that. I have never been housebroken so I would need an understanding person when it comes to this and a person who doesn’t mind mistakes and a person who doesn’t work full time. Probable would be best you were retired, I can learn I just need the time to do it. I need someone to Love me enough to learn and to be happy. My foster Mom also said If I am locked up in a room I will try and get out and I did chew on their bathroom door to do so but when I am left out I have no issues and do no damage.

I am on a new adventure I met the rescue today and they took a bunch of photos, I am very cute and a happy puppy and loved going for walks before my road trip. I am on my way to my new foster home today. Gail my new foster Mom is really good with working with dogs and is going to work with me and my housebreaking issues, She can be around me so that will help. They are also going to see if they can curb my fear of men as well... I am on my new adventure and I will keep you posted!!

Well here I am all ready to find my perfect loving forever home!! My foster Mom says I am doing great with my housebreaking and crate training and we are all excited, I am almost perfect!
Then .... I am so embarrased......... my foster Mom did find out I do suffer some anxiety, while She was grooming a dog and I had to be put in another room and I got nervous and went potty everywhere. I will need a patient person who will help me understand that yes you will be back and will continue to love and work with me.
I am dog dominate so I will be placed as an only dog so that I can soak up all the love I can get all to myself, and I have not been tested with cats but since I am dog dominate cats wouldn't be a good idea.
My problem with men seems to have vanished,Now mind you the men here are dog savy, I have had no issues with the men or boys here and I get along great with everyone. I am told all the time how much I am loved! I would also do better with older children 15yrs and up due to my size and inexperience with them.
I am very cute and looking for forever love, could that be you?
I do have an adoption fee of $250 to cover my vetting and to help save the next pup.
I am fully Vetted/Nuetered/Microchipped/Heartworm Neg on preventative and also under flea/tick treatment as well
I am looking for my perfect home within 50 miles of Chicago Illinois an application and home visit a requirement
I am such a good little doggie!! Cute too!!

*** Please be patient, we are a very small organization and we all sadly have to work and have families just like you. We also know the excitement of finding a pet that could be your furever family member and we receive numerous inquiries
from other families who feel the same way. Our primary goal is matching the perfect family with our pups and do not practice first come, first serve". We are setting up many meet and greets with our pups and the family could be found prior to you even getting to meet them. We will make sure all potential adopters who inquired are updated if the pup has been adopted. We do not want to waste anyone's time and recommend you keep looking while you wait to hear from us and as always Thank You for adopting and not shopping. ***
Adoption applications will be sent via email only, we do not have them posted online anywhere or on a website.
