My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I bet you would love a girl who would love you above all others yet is not high maintenance. A girl who loves to exercise and enjoys a good nap on the couch just as much? A girl who would make your family complete even if you are single, or have older, non rambunctious children. Well, look no further, and meet Dakota, a two years old female Black Lab/Aussie Shepherd mix, who weighs in a 40 lbs. She is a pretty girl with a sturdy, healthy body covered in short black and white fur. A well-mannered girl, Dakota has a lovely personality and is comfortable around people and dogs but has never met a cat. Dakota is a loving, loyal girl who enjoys being petted and loved, but is not an attention hog.

Dakota is quiet and rarely barks, she likes having her own bed on which to have a nap. Although she enjoys playing and walking with her foster humans, Dakota doesn’t look for a lot of exercise. She is fully housetrained but will need further leash training.

Sweet Dakota needs a home with a loving family who will spoil her, and keep her moderately active. A home where she has a nice, cozy bed to call hers, and lots of toys. She is fully vetted, up to date on shots, and spayed.

In order to adopt Dakota, you must fill out an adoption application and adoption contract. Dakota is located in Middle Tennessee but can be transported to other regions. Her adoption fee is $75, and if she needs to be transported to you, the cost is $150 paid to the pet transport company.
