**** Update 3/18/08**** Well, I have more to add to my story. I was adopted by a very nice lady, but she was not able to keep me. I am a very strong girl, and I knocked her down a few times. I do need some training on my leash. I also had a few potty accidents in her house. I went back to my puppy days a little! Hopefully, I can find a forever home soon. I just need some special one on one care. I have been spayed, too! My adopttion fee is 150$. ******
Hi! My name is Honey, and I am just that sweet! I was found wandering around outside when the local dog warden picked me up. After getting me back to the shelter they realized I was pregnant! Oh my! Five days later I gave birth to 9 beautiful puppies. Unfortunately, 3 died very soon after. I guess that is expected being that I didn't get good care while I was pregnant. When my babies were 2 weeks old a wonderful person rescued me and my babies from the pound. It sure was cold in the pound. My babies and I were then taken to a very warm loving home. I ate sooo much the first couple of days with them. You could tell I had been starving. A few days later 3 more of my puppies died. I was so sad! But, the 3 that are still alive are doing great. I have really had a rough time so far in my young life. The vet said I am about 3 years old. I am UTD on all of my shots, tested negative for heartworm, and I am on flea and heartworm preventative. I am weaning my puppies currently. I will be spayed before I find my forever home. My home I live in has 4 kids. 8,5,3, and 9 months are their ages. I love them all. I have also found two cat friends here! And... there are 3 other dogs ( big and little) that live here too! What a crazy place! But, it shows that I can get along with anyone! I am a little timid at first, but warm up quick. I have just been through a lot in a short period of time! I still need to gain a little weight, but I love to eat so it shouldn't take long! I can't wait to meet you! Love, Honey
