Koa is a great smart loving little boy he LOVES other dogs of all sizes so we're looking to place him with another dog, someone home and maybe an older child to play with
he loves to romp run and play but also snuggle on your lap
If no other dog at home then daily playdates at dog park or doggie day care a must
a child at home not a must but owners must be home during the day
that does not mean coming home for lunch but being at home
a stay at home mom or home business be great
Koa went everywhere with his prev. owners so very socialized he will bark at strangers coming to home but that is a normal thing to do
He has not lived with little kids but has been around them so we prefer older ones over 10 yrs that can play must be gentle and learned to respect animals
Koa was bought from a breeder in the Bay area at age 3 months, has had a great loving family for the past 6 months super well cared for and we are looking for same
someone that has the breed experience and is financially stable to take on a dog and care for the dog the way it should be
I met this cute boy he's not your JR hyper boy but is only looking for a younger active family that has lots of time for him to run, play, swim etc
someone social as he is too gets along with everyone has no hangups
Koa is 9 months old and very healthy and well cared for, weighs 17 pounds pretty much full grown
has been around many kids but only looking for older and respectful ones 10 yrs and up would be wonderful, he loves to play fetch so the kids would be a gift for him best buddies sleeping in bed with them
bio below from his rev. owners
We have trained him in the Hawaiian Language, but still use English as well. He loves to go out for rides in his carseat, loves to play with other dogs of all types, loves to play catch and tug-a-rope.
He is an indoor puppy but loves to stretch his legs and sprint around the yard. He has not been introduced to swimming yet cause its too cold but summer is near now so hopefully in his new home he will go swimming
Koa loves adults/children and is gentle when playing.
If you ask him to sit he will, then ask him to,"to SHOW ALOHA!" and he will put his left paw in your hand! He loves Kisses always!
He loves to take a bath and doesn't mind the hair dryer. Of course he takes off wanting to play after his bath. He is fully potty trained, although he only know "shee-shee" that means Potty! We have a doggy door and he goes when needed
Koa is a Jack Russell and loves to chew! We have never had a problem with him chewing up anything of ours but his own chew toys only
We are only looking to place him with breed experienced folks that owned Terriers before
Terriers are NOT first time dogs no matter how well trained and raised
we are looking to place Koa with a family that is home during the day and takes him everywhere he's very social and loves being with people and action
a fenced yard a must so no apartments please and prefer another playful fun dog his size or bigger
if no other dog owner must be young and fit to exercise him daily be home and have time for him
3-5 days a week of playmates as Koa loves loves to romp with other dogs
he's currently best buddy to a 70 pound active but gentle fem dog a old man Basset and a 7 pound fem
he mainly plays with the active large dog
If you have a large dog must be 100% small dog proof in a dog experienced home to ensure nothing will happen to Koa
For the right breed experienced active family we may let him go as only dog if
you have lots of time to play and at least 3 playdates a week possible daily dog park visits
be active and fun yourself, hiking outdoorsy adventures and a stable income to support a dog
If you have another dog must be younger and active and LOVE other dogs
