Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bailey came into rescue when the other female dogs in her home turned on her and attacked her. She required surgery and became very fearful, understandably. The owners were afraid to leave her alone with the others while they worked and felt she would be much better off to find a home where she would again feel safe. She has done just fine in rescue among many other dogs because none of them have been threatening. She is house trained, a very loving and affectionate girl and not a nuisance barker. Dachshunds live a fairly long life, usually 16 years or more so she has many years left to offer her companionship to a new home. Her foster mom currently has a 17 year old Dachshund. Bailey is a black and tan piebald Dachshund, that is what her color pattern is called.
