My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the “original” Three’s Company, Jack, Janet, & Chrissy! All three cats are 5 years old. This trio has a particularly sad story. These three were abandoned by their owners when they moved out. When the new owners bought the house, they noticed these three living under the porch in the backyard. They were so friendly to them even though they didn’t know them at all. Every night they would go to the back door and cry to come inside. This was particularly heart breaking when you really think about it .. they were thrown outside and all they wanted was to go back into their house. Unfortunately the new owners are allergic to cats and could not keep them. Jack is definitely the friendliest of the three. He’s a TOTAL love bug .. all 14 lbs of him. Chrissy is super sweet. She’s very interested in human attention. Janet is the shyest of the three. Janet is very confused about her new surroundings, especially given what she’s just been through. We are asking that these three be adopted together. We need a miracle to have not one, not two, but THREE all black, adult cats to be adopted together .. but luckily we make miracles happen every day here.

We Spay/Neuter all of our cats and they receive the necessary medical care including Rabies, Three Distemper vaccines, De-worming, De-fleaing, Microchipping, and Testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.

Care for Animals is located at 2944 Post Rd. Warwick, RI 02886. You are welcome to visit during hospital hours. Our hours are Monday 8-7, Tuesday — Thursday 8-5 and Friday 9-3. We’re also happy to set up weekend appointments.
