Winter: The Journey of One Little Hoarding Dog

Winter's rescue meant she would see the outdoors for the first time in her life. She was easily 15 lbs underweight and had been allowed to have countless litters. Her artificial environment stunted her developmental growth. She has the sweet face of a young dog, but she is actually about 4 years old.
Today, Winter is a healthy 54 lbs, and her coat shines like black silk. Her journey is a slow and deliberate one. She is making friends with life itself. Winter needs a home that appreciates her anxiety of being outside for too long. She would be the perfect apartment dog. She trusts easily but much prefers the quiet predictable life. Winter is so special, she will need a home that honors her survival and will guide her to new exciting things. She is afraid of other dogs because spent a lifetime being attacked by them in an effort to survive, so we would prefer a home where Winter could be the only pet.
